Rock hard Hard wood Credenza. Proportions look like a 3-yo drew them on a shoe but I like it and you should too.

This Credenza was built to house records with three compartment storage spaces and two sliding doors. It is constructed from 3/4” oak plywood with cherry, walnut, and wenge accents. The base is constructed of solid hickory and walnut; cut down and milled by hand. The feet are adjustable for leveling on any surface except water.

Those speakers were designed by Joey Roth; even though I wish I could take credit cuz they’re trill arn’t they?

Process

I went into this project trying to use hand tools for everything that I could. Most of the hardwood aspects were cut down and planed using the tools I inherited. No really, this like - came from a tree on my peepaw’s farm.

The finger joints were cut with a dovetail saw and chisels (10/10 would not recommend); but it worked out better than expected.

The base is made from hickory and walnut. A 3/8” bolt, nut, and jacket were inserted and epoxied into each leg for easy leveling adjustments.
